Overview

As a Senior Consultant at ViTL Solutions, you will support projects and programs, using your skills in business analysis, project, and program leadership and project management office (PMO) operations. You will be a key member of project teams, supporting clients across a wide range of industries and building long-term relationships. In addition to client service delivery, you will contribute to shaping our firm culture through strategy, recruiting, team building, and practice development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides specialist skills in support of a project or program, reporting to a project or program manager or independently leading smaller client initiatives.
  • Analyze client data and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop project plans, scopes, and timelines.
  • Support senior project leaders to deliver projects and initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Participate in proposal and presentation development to assist in selling work to clients.
  • Continuously improve personal and professional skills.
  • Demonstrate personal effectiveness and organizational agility.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships internally, with customers, and with external networks.
  • Demonstrate a passion for and commitment to the success of our customers by putting their interests first.
  • Participate in business development activities to help grow ViTL’s book of business.
  • Proactively looks for personal and career development opportunities.
  • Contributes to internal initiatives or operations under the supervision of a lead.
  • Act as a steward of the organization by thinking like an owner and acting in the organization’s best interests.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, program/portfolio leadership, PMO operations, and/or merger & acquisition scenarios.
  • Clear understanding and experience in program and portfolio governance and methodology approaches (including but not limited to PMBOK, waterfall, iterative, Agile — Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe).
  • Experience with PPM tools such as MS Project and Smartsheet.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present to senior leadership levels.
  • Ability to negotiate, persuade, and influence others, and manage conflict to productive conclusion.
  • Prior experience from either a large/strategic consultancy or internal corporate project management group is preferred.
  • Experience working in multiple industries and business areas.
  • Must be flexible with a high tolerance for uncertainty and ambiguity.
  • Experience with technology functions, such as system implementations, data analysis and migrations, is preferred.
  • Ability to establish immediate credibility with clients and work in a collaborative team environment.

  • $88,000 – $110,000
